The future of women’s leaders 2030

“Being on the list of names so far has never been entirely a coincidence، so we believe that your great abilities deserve to be in the right place.” This is a quote from what I received following my selection among the trainees of the “Women Leaders 2030” program launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in cooperation with Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University and INSEAD Global Institute, with the aim of supporting and qualifying women in the private sector for a higher leadership role.

It is one of a series of qualitative initiatives aimed at developing the professional level of national human resources and specifically women, which led me to ask: Will I be able to apply this exemplary scientific content in my work environment?

There is no doubt that the gap between learning leadership theories and applying them in the work environment is a real obstacle to employee growth and skills development, which reflects negatively on the work environment as a whole, what is the reason?

The reasons are many, the most important of which is centered behind professional administrative leadership, as it is the effective engine that can advance the level of employee development and improve the quality of work and increase production, and this comes through the appreciation of distinctive competencies and giving them sufficient opportunities to apply the newly learned theories, and then evaluate the performance and interact with it positively, successful leadership It does not stop at a limited horizon. Rather, it invests its projects with a creative person who is eager to learn and develop, but the difference is still evident between the different work environments in understanding and activating this concept. Why?

Supporting women to obtain higher leadership roles has become a tangible reality, andthe future will come with many surprises and opportunities, and this keeps them ambitious in a positive professional environment that accommodates them, appreciates their efficiency, and gives them more time to prove their effective leadership influence and their rising national contribution. I was delighted with this program, which brought together “women leaders” from different regions of the Kingdom to present a unique leadership model with a diversity of academic disciplines and practical fields, preparing for a more effective professional role.
